Legal Receptionist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Entry Level Receptionist at Colón Law Firm in Greer, SC. The receptionist will handle phone calls, greet clients and visitors, perform clerical duties, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualification

  • Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong receptionist duties and clerical skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi task.
  • Professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in a law firm is a plus.

Immigration Paralegal

  • 2 years of law-related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
  • Ability to collaborate with immigration attorneys and administrative managers.
  • Extensive knowledge of visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications.
  • Experience in preparing petition packages for review and filling.
  • Ability to manage immigration inquiries, gather required information, and keep clients informed of progress.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology and immigration database software, such as LawLogix and eIMMIGRATION.
  • Exceptional recordkeeping and communication skills.

Immigration Attorney

  • State Bar registration.
  • 1 year of immigration law work experience.
  • Functional knowledge of waivers, visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications.
  • Experience in preparing EOIR, USCIS, and ICE petitions.
  • Ability to manage immigration inquiries, gather required information, and keep clients informed of progress.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology and immigration database software, such as LawLogix and eIMMIGRATION.
  • Exceptional recordkeeping and communication skills.

Billing Specialist

  • 1 year billing experience within any industry (ie, Medical, manufacturing, legal, etc).
  • Searching financial statement for any payment inconsistencies or errors.
  • Collaborating with clients, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors.
  • Creating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to clients.
  • Inputting payment history, upcoming payment information or other financial data into an individual account.
  • Finding financial solutions for clients who may need payment assistance.
  • Informing patients or customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines
  • Calculating, tracking, and generating financial reports for management to review.
